We are pleased to inform you that Issue No. 1 (2026) of Bibliografski vjesnik is currently in print and will soon be available to readers. At the same time, we invite all interested authors to submit their scholarly and professional papers for publication in forthcoming issues of the journal.

From 7 May to 16 June 2026, a committee comprising Đurđa Martinović, Danijela Radulović, and Marija Mašanović successfully carried out an electronic stocktaking of the section of the Montenegrina Collection housed in the building of the former French Embassy. This marks the first electronic stocktaking of its kind undertaken by the National Library of Montenegro.

The 13 July Uprising, a symbol of resistance to fascism and the Montenegrin people's struggle for freedom, is presented through the visual art of Petar Lubarda, Anton Lukateli, Aleksandar Prijić, Luka Tomanović, and other artists; musical works and arrangements of partisan folk songs; literary works, including the poetry of Mirko Banjević, Aleksandar Ivanović, Ratko Vujošević, Momir Marković, and others; anecdotes from the National Liberation War, memoirs, the novels of Mihailo Lalić, as well as films inspired by the Uprising and literary works dedicated to the National Liberation War.

Today, the Public Institution Residential Home for Older People "Nikšić" welcomed Mr Ivan Radulović, Director of the National Library of Montenegro "Đurđe Crnojević", who donated as many as 70 books covering a variety of genres. This generous contribution has significantly enriched the institution's library.

The course was led by senior librarians and holders of a Master's degree in Library and Information Science, Vesna Kovačević and Sanja Martinović. It was attended by ten librarians representing the National Library of Montenegro “Đurđe Crnojević”, the Herceg Novi Public Library and Reading Room, the “Njegoš” Public Library in Nikšić, the Faculty of Law, and the Faculty of Political Sciences in Podgorica.
