EXHIBITION “FOREIGNERS ABOUT MONTENEGRO” IN BERANE

The exhibition was organized by the Berane Cultural Center in cooperation with the National Library of Montenegro “Đurđe Crnojević" from Cetinje, as part of the five-day event “Duke Gavro Vuković’s Week”.While opening the exhibition, Dragica Lompar, Director of the National Library of Montenegro, pointed out that the exhibition presents a selection of texts from the original materials kept by the Library in Cetinje. These are translations of works by Sommier, Štiglic, Kolo, Rovinski, Wilkinson, Evans, Valentineli, Kovaljevski, Lenorman, Hasert, Kuba, Holeček... and others, who have made an exceptional contribution to the study of our history and culture.

The National Library of Montenegro “Đurđe Crnojević” presents a new edition of the book “DIVAN II: ALCHEMY OF WORDS AND DEEDS” by Safet Hadrović Vrbički. “DIVAN II” brings a collection of essays, poetry, prose, stories and testimonies that recognize the tradition and spiritual thread of the Bosniak cultural circle. Through measured words and deep feelings, Hadrović Vrbički writes a book that preserves the values ​​of heritage and remains contemporary in its expression.
