In 2012, the National Library scanned, digitized and published in electronic form – on DVD – all editions of “Glas Crnogorca”, which in the period from 1873 to 1922 was published in the total number of 2,334 issues. The National Library has digitized all the published volumes of the Montenegrin Bibliography 1494-1994, that is, 32 issues in four volumes with 15.030 pages of encyclopedic format. They enumerate 229,611 bibliographic units, relating to incunabulum, paleotypes, books, serials and articles from periodicals. This enables significantly easier use and easier access to this extensive amount of bibliographic information.

The Library, among other things, developed a digital collection Petar II Petrović Njegoš containing about 10,000 scanned pages, including the first releases of Njegoš’s works from the National Library’s holdings, manuscripts of “Gorski vijenac” and “Bilježnica”, selected translations of Njegoš’s works, selection of the literature on Njegoš, selected correspondence, biography and a selection of theater posters from plays inspired by Njegoš’s works. Portal Petar II Petrovic Njegoš was implemented in 2013 under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of Montenegro, on the occasion of the celebration of 200 years since the birth of the great poet.

The project of the National Library “Digital Collection Legacy of Radivoje Lola Đukić” was implemented in 2015 on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the death of this famous Yugoslav and Montenegrin television, film and theater director, painter, publisher and satirist. Materials were arranged thematically and placed within several groups: Video and Audio material, Individual Texts and Artistic Materials. The digital collection has the aim of presenting the most important television, theater and film productions of Lola Đukić and his unpublished literary works and artistic contributions to a broader cultural and scientific public.

In late 2015, the National Library launched the project Web Archives of Montenegro. Since the end of 2016, the first archived contents have been available at: http://www.webarhiv.me.
