The collection of printed music and audiovisual material has about 30,500 library units, or about 20,500 units of audio-visual material (about 7,500 single plates, 7,000 LPs, 4,300 audio tapes, more than 200 video cassettes and 1,500 compact discs) and 10,000 printed music.
Particularly valuable are Album Černohorski : 70 narodnich pisni by Ludvik Kuba from 1890 and The Motives of Montenegro by Antun Pogačar. There are also scenic oratorio The Mountain Wreath by Nikola Hercigonja and Testament of Montenegrin Bishop Petar Petrovic Njegoš by Rajko Maksimović.
