On Friday, 29 May, the National Library was visited by representatives of the publishing house “GAEditori” from Sicily. On that occasion, they donated valuable publications from their publishing house to the Library.
This visit was organised as part of the “World Library Tour” project, which involves visiting libraries around the world and donating books to them. According to the organisers, the idea is for literature to travel beyond borders, to establish dialogue with other cultures, and to overcome distances, differences and inequalities through what, in their view, has always connected people – storytelling.
In addition to the National Library of Montenegro, they have also visited the national libraries of Iceland, Norway, Finland, France, the United Arab Emirates, Nepal, and many others.
