The National Library of Montenegro “Đurđe Crnojević” today organised an event in front of the building of the former French Embassy in Cetinje under the slogan “Let’s Read Together”.
The focus was on books that our Library intended as gifts for all lovers of the written word. This was one of a series of events being organised in Cetinje to mark 21 May and the twentieth anniversary of the restoration of Montenegrin independence. There was great interest among the citizens and visitors of Cetinje, and everyone who wished was able to find a publication suited to their interests and preferences. Our colleagues from the Department of the National Collection, Legacies and Old and Rare Books assisted visitors in selecting suitable reading material.
