This year, due to the
increasing number of users of the COBISS system in Montenegro, as well as the
announcement of an increase in the number of system members, two training
courses for COBISS have been implemented at the National Library of Montenegro
(NLM) i.e. the National COBISS Center of Montenegro (NCCM):
The course Use of COBISS3 Software/Download of Records
and Fund, held between from 8 to 10 of May 2019, intended to those who meet
with the COBISS3 and COMARC/H format for the first time.
Number of participants
was 13, from 6 libraries, 4 of which are still not members of the COBISS system,
but their membership is expected in autumn.
The second course Use of COBISS3 Software/Catalogization – elementary
– was focused on the education of librarians who will take part in shared
cataloguing system and COBISS database development in the following period. The
total number of participants on this course was 9, from 7 libraries.
The courses were carried
out by a licensed instructor for COBISS courses, M.Sc. Đurđa Martinović.
