Within the First International Book Fair in Podgorica (31.05-5.06), where CNL “Đurđe Crnojević” was one of the exhibitors, the Library editions were presented – 02.06: the publishing activity of the Library and its most significant projects, its editors and contemporary editions were presented in detail by the current editor Čedomir Drašković.
03.06. : the exhibition Foreigners on Montenegro – from the holdings of CNL “Đurđe Crnojević”, presented by: Jelena Đurović, Library director and Milenija Vračar.”It is a project primarily aimed at presenting to the widest audience a part of the collection of the ‘Montenegrina‘ collection held at the National Library speaking of Montenegro through written works of foreigners… Our aim is to make these works available to the widest range of readers, to incite translation of the original works, since this literature, due to their contents, should make part of our collective memory and is worth knowing, evaluating and being given attention to….” (Jelena Đurović)The exhibition covers 15 countries on 28 printed posters (on sale, both individually and as a whole set).
