On the occasion of the 145th anniversary of the first issue of “The Voice of the Montenegrin”, the National Library of Montenegro “Đurđe Crnojević” will organize an exhibition of posters “Europe on the pages of The Voice of the Montenegrin” on Monday, April 30, 2018.
Apart from the posters, visitors will get the opportunity to see the original copies of this significant newspaper from the end of the XIX and the beginning of the XX century, which holds the status of a cultural property of special importance for the history and culture of our country.
Mladen Červenjakov, Ambassador of Bulgaria, who is a head of EU Delegation to Montenegro, Marijan Miljić, a librarian and publicist and prof. Dr Vesna Kilibarda will speak at the exhibition.
The exhibition will be opened at the Hall of the Library in Cetinje at 7pm and CD’s with the digitized version of “The Voice of the Montenegrin” will be distributed to visitors.
The program is taking place within European Year of Cultural Heritage.
