Cooperation between the National Library in Hangzhou, China
and libraries from Central and Eastern European countries continued.
During the second forum of the Union of these libraries held
in Macedonia, a program was launched in which the participating libraries were
given the opportunity to present one of the rare and old editions they store in
their collections. The National Library of Montenegro presented a reprint of “Octoechos
of the First Voice” from 1494.
Director Dragica Lompar described the book in a
video recorded for the occasion, subtitled in English and Chinese. The video
