GENERAL DIRECTOR OF THE NATIONAL ACADEMIC LIBRARY OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN, PROF. DR MUNALBAEVA UMUTKAN DAURENBEKOVNA VISITED NLM “ĐURĐE CRNOJEVIĆ”
Director General of the National Academic
Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, prof. Dr Munalbaeva Umutkan
Daurenbekovna, visited the NLM “Đurđe Crnojević” on June 14, 2021.
The
visit was organized through the Montenegrin Embassy in Moscow and Ambassador
Mr. Milorad Šćepanović, who is at the same time accredited to Kazakhstan
on a non-resident basis.
During the two-hour visit, in the company of the director
Dragica Lompar and the assistant director Dragan Mirković, Ms. Munalbaeva got
acquainted with the history and organization of our most important library
institution. She also visited the former
Italian embassy and expressed great satisfaction that she had the opportunity
to learn a lot of important information during her stay in Montenegro,
especially about NLM and its valuable holdings. Both
sides expressed readiness of national institutions operating in the field of culture
to establish partnership and cooperation in order to acquaint the citizens of
our two friendly countries with the cultural heritage and traditions of the
Kazakh and Montenegrin people.
Director Lompar presented Ms. Munalbaeva with a special
gift of valuable titles from the Library's publishing production.
