On the occasion of 250th anniversary of the birth of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the Central National Library “Đurđe Crnojević”, in cooperation with the Faculty of Arts and the Music Academy from Cetinje, on 8th June 2006 in the library premises (Former Italian Embassy) organised a night featuring the works of this renowned composer.
The thematic night includes the exhibition of the written and audio holdings on Mozart from the Music Collection of the Central National Library (sheet music, records and monographs), exhibition of drawings by students from the Faculty of Arts and the concert organised by the Music Academy of Cetinje.1st programme unit – an exhibition from the holdings of the Central National Library – exhibition designers: Milenija Vračar and Dragica Lompar, in cooperation with Nataša Bokan in charge of managing special holdings. 2nd unit: the exhibition design and the selection of works by the Faculty of Arts students was done by Prof Ilija Burić. 3rd unit: concert of the Music Academy – performers: Ljubiša Jovanović, flute, Žana Marinković, flute, Tanja ševaljević, violin, Ilija Asanović, cello; Marija – Đurđević – Ilić, flute.“Allow me to express my joy that our initiative to undertake joint projects significant for the cultural life of our town and a wider area has been met with pleasure and enthusiasm by the esteemed dean Mrs Nataša Đurović and Mr Vladimir Bočkjarov. We collaborated very constructively, leading to unusual lightness in making this night happen.
