Yesterday, within the program activities of the 13th International Book Fair in Podgorica, Dr. Senka Naumovska, Director of the National and University Library of Macedonia “Kliment Ohridski”, held a speech with the aim to introduce the public with the materials about Montenegro that are kept in the Macedonian library, with special emphasis on the works of Božidar Vuković Podgoričanin. She spoke on the topic “Materials on Montenegro in the Holdings of the National and University Library of Macedonia “Kliment Ohridski”. She pointed out that “Oktoih” which was printed in 1493 – 1494 in Bozidar Vuković’s printing house, is only a part of the library’s material kept by the Library in Skopje.

“There is 12 preserved sheets of “Oktoih” in our fund. There are also proceedings “Minej”, printed between 1536 and 1538 and “Psaltir”, also printed by Božidar Vuković in 1546”, said Dr. Senka Naumovska at the tribune.
To encounter the celebration of the renewal of Montenegrin statehood, she announced an exhibition of library material related to Montenegro, which will take place within the Days of Montenegrin Culture in Skopje.
Director of the National Library of Montenegro “Đurđe Crnojević”, Bogić Rakočević pointed out that the first agreement on cooperation in the field of culture was signed with Skopje, after Montenegro restored its statehood.
The tribune also raised the issue of the exchange of library material between Montenegro and Macedonia.
