“Bijeli gavran” (“The White Raven”) by Borislav Jovanovic in edition of Central National Library of Montenegro “Djurdje Crnojevic” will be presented at this year’s Art Fair ART EXPO in Budva on Friday , May 27, at 20 o’clock.
During the presentation, the writer and literary critic Pavle Goranovic, the publicist Marijan Miljic, the writer Dragan Radulovic and the very author – Borislav Jovanovic will speak about “The White Raven” (or: “Roman o imaginarnoj biblioteci u nekoliko citanja ili dnevnik Djurdja Crnojevica” – “A Novel about Fictional Library in Several Readings or Djurdje Crnojevic’s Journal”). Apart from Jovanovic’s novel, Central National Library of Montenegro “Djurdje Crnojevic” will be represented by the exhibition called “Bibliophile editions”, from its valuable collections. Also, library will be represented by its latest publishing production from which the following editions stand out: – Editions published on the occasion of the jubilee “100 godina obnove Kraljevine Crne Gore” (“100 Years of Renewal of the Kingdom of Montenegro”) – “Besjede i proglasi Kralja Nikole” (“Sermons and Declarations of King Nikola”), “Poslanstva na Cetinju” (“Embassies in Cetinje”), “Nikola i gospodar i pjesnik” (“Nikola – Ruler and Poet”), “Crnogorska i inostrana štampa” (“Montenegrin and Foreign Press”); – Bibliography of Academic Radomir Ivanovic; – Book 9 of the third volume of the project “Crnogorska bibliografija 1494 – 1994” (“Montenegrin Bibliography from 1494 to 1994”);
Photo type editions from the Crnojevic’s printer house will be exposed at the stand of Central National Library: Oktoih prvoglasnik, Psaltir s posljedovanjem i Molitvenik, and the reprint of the old Montenegrin periodicals – Glas Crnogorca, Crnogorac, Crnogorka, Zeta, Zdravlje, Granit, etc.
Fifth Art Fair, ART EXPO, which will be held from 25 to 31 of May at the Adriatic Fair in Budva, is a review of Artworks from different fields of creativity.
It is an exhibition designed for art galleries, independent artists, and antiquaries, companies for equipment and supplies for artists, publishing houses, associations and local industries.
The aim of ART EXPO is to make positive impact on cultural and artistic environment in Montenegro.
