The exhibition “Medals of the United States’ History 1776 – 1876” was opened on July 13 at the Central National Library “Djurdje Crnojevic” in Cetinje.
The exhibition of copies of various symbols of Montenegro and the United States, such as medals, flags, emblems and coins was organized by the Foundation for Preservation and Development of Cultural Heritage of Montenegro “East River” – Montenegro & Unique under the auspices of Montenegrin President, Filip Vujanovic. Author of the exhibition is the President of the Foundation – Zoran B. Zekovic. The exhibition was opened by the Minister of Science, Sanja Vlahovic. Apart from her, visitors were addressed by Zoran B. Zekovic and by the director of CNL “Djurdje Crnojevic”, Jelena Djurovic. The plan is to continue the exhibition next year in Washington.
