On February 27, through sequence of programs, the National Library of Montenegro “Đurđe Crnojević” will mark 170 years since the publication of “The Mountain Wreath”.
Opening of an exhibition of old and rare editions and translations of “The Mountain Wreath”, as well as posters printed on various occasions related to this work, will take place at 12am at the ceremonial hall of the Library. Organized visit of students from Cetinje’s schools will be arranged and Slobodan Marunović, actor of the National Theatre of Montenegro, will speak excerpts from Njegoš’s work.
At 18h, at the ceremonial hall of the Library, Professor Doctor Sonja Tomović Šundić will speak about “The Mountain Wreath”, and there will be played excerpts from the documentary which was prepared by the National Library on the occasion of this date.
