The Annual Conference of Directors of European National Libraries (CENL) was held in Luxembourg from 14 to 16 June 2026.
Representing the National Library of Montenegro “Đurđe Crnojević” at the conference were Director Ivan Radulović and International Cooperation Coordinator Slađana Sjekloća.
On the first day, participants took part in a cultural programme, which provided an opportunity to explore the landmarks of the City of Luxembourg and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
The conference programme included presentations, as well as the adoption of the minutes of the previous CENL Conference and the approval of the CENL Annual Report and Financial Report.
The participants unanimously voted to admit the National Library of Wales to CENL membership, represented by Rodri Morgan.
Plans for marking the 40th anniversary of CENL, to be celebrated this year and next year, were also presented.
The National Library of Sweden will host the 2027 CENL Conference.
