We are pleased to invite you to the 5th Conference of Librarians,
Archivists and Museums - LAM 2025, entitled “Transformation of
libraries, archives and museums in a (post) digital environment with a
focus on the protection, accessibility, research and promotion of
cultural heritage”, which will be held on May 28 and 29, 2025 in
Cetinje.
The conference is organized by the National Library of Montenegro
“Đurđe Crnojević” in cooperation with the State Archives of Montenegro
and the National Museum of Montenegro.
From the beginning, the conference aimed to unite common resources in
the domain of cultural heritage of Montenegro, in order to exchange
experiences and knowledge of experts in this field, guided by the
importance of the potential of cultural heritage for the overall
progress of our country and region. In addition, the goals are to
improve the activities of young professionals who in Montenegro do not
have the possibility of formal education to work in cultural heritage
institutions, as well as to raise the level of its visibility through
the use of new technologies.
The cooperation of Montenegrin national cultural institutions in the
organization of the conference shows a common concern and responsibility
for the preservation and presentation of the tangible and intangible
assets of Montenegro, providing the opportunity to present and exchange
experiences, good practices and ideas for future cooperation at such and
similar events.
We invite you to apply and send abstracts with a short biography by April 20 to the e-mail address: dragana.markovic@nb-cg.me
and complete papers by September 1, 2025. The works, as in previous
years, will be published in the electronic edition of the LAM 2025
Proceedings. Information on the acceptance of the work will be delivered
to you by May 1, 2025.
The payment of the registration fee can be made before the day of the
conference, as well as on the day of the conference itself. The
registration fee includes participation in the conference program,
accompanying material and publication of the paper in the LAM
Proceedings.
The registration fee is 25 €. Payment can be made to the account
535-11-579-68 Prva banka, with the indication “For the Conference -
registration fee” (payment can also be made on the day of the
Conference).
