On December 27, 2023, the Library of the Army of Montenegro became the fiftieth full member of the COBISS.CG library and information system.
The contract on full membership was signed by the Director of the National Library of Montenegro “Đurđe Crnojević”, Dragica Lompar, M.Sc. and Lieutenant Colonel Miladin Čogurić, Commander of the Training Center of the Army of Montenegro.
Dragan Mirković, assistant director for development at the National Library of Montenegro, Vjenceslava Ševaljević, MA, head of the Department for Library Information System and Digitization, as well as Renata Bulajić, librarian at the Library of the Armed Forces of Montenegro, attended this ceremony.
By joining the autonomous library and information system of Montenegro, based on the COBISS (Cooperative Online Bibliographic System and Services) platform, the Armed Forces of Montenegro’s Library joined the large family of over 1,400 libraries in the COBISS.Net regional network.
