Again this year, as a part of the Cetinje Summer of Culture, the music festival “Espressivo“ was held at the premises of the CNL “Djurdje Crnojevic“. Over eleven evenings, from 28 July to 8 August 2010, classical music lovers had the opportunity to enjoy the concerts performed within the Library Ceremonial Hall, and two more staged at the King Nikola’s Square and the Theatre House “Zetski dom“, respectively.
The programme featured solo concerts of professors and best trainees of the Summer Academy in Cetinje, with a diverse and rich repertoire ranging from the Baroque to contemporary pieces.
The Festival was officially opened by the Mayor of the Old Royal Capital, Dr Milovan Janković, and German ambassador, Peter Plate, and the Romanian ambassador, Mihail Florovic, were among the distinguished visitors.
