Master's degree students of the
Faculty of Philology from Nikšić with professor Dušanka Popović, Ph.D., paid a
study visit to the National Library of Montenegro “Đurđe Crnojević” yesterday, on
November 9.
Milenija Vračar, librarian
adviser, introduced them to the tasks and departments of the Library. The
manager of the Collection of musicals, phono documents and audio-visual
materials MSc Natalija Bokan, librarian adviser, presented it to the students.
MSc Vesna Kovačević, consultant
librarian, spoke about information and media literacy for the use of library
resources, and the lecture on mutual and local online catalogue was given by
the adviser librarians: MSc Vjenceslava Ševaljević and MSc Đurđa Martinović.
The digital library of Montenegro
was presented to the students by Zorica Sjekloća, senior librarian, while “Retrospective
and National Bibliography” was the topic of the presentation by Milorad
Milović, librarian adviser.
After very interactive and
interesting lectures, the guests toured the building of the former French
embassy, and their host was the head of the Department of the National Fund,
Legacies and Old and Rare Books Danijela Radulović, librarian adviser.
The goal of the visit was to expand the
knowledge and skills necessary for using library resources during the
preparation of scientific work.
