Representatives
of our library: Sladjana Sjekloća, Branka Kaludjerović, Marija Mašanović and
Bojana Joksimović participated in the media literacy workshop “Find out and
Discern”, which was held in the American Corner in Cetinje yesterday.
Participants had
the opportunity to learn to distinguish between types of media content,
recognize and separate information from persuasion as well as the process of
creating persuasive strategies, and to check data and learn how manipulative
contents (misinformation and manipulation) are being created.
The workshop,
organized within the IREX media literacy program and conducted by the Institute
of Media of Montenegro with the support of the US Embassy, was led by Draško
Jabučanin, a media literacy trainer.
