IFLA GENERAL ASSEMBLY

This year's annual IFLA assembly took place virtually on August 25, 2021. The event was hosted by the Royal Library of the Netherlands in The Hague.

The IFLA Annual Report for 2020 was presented, as well as the Annual Accounts.

The results of the voting for the election of the new president and members of the Governing Board have been formally announced. The IFLA President until 2023 will be Barbara Lison from Germany, who in her acceptance speech introduced herself to members, along with her theme: Libraries Building a Sustainable Future.

Honorary awards were given to deserving colleagues and a vote of thanks was sent to the outgoing Governing Board.

On behalf of the National Library of Montenegro “Đurđe Crnojević” the Assembly was followed by Dragica Lompar, director and Sladjana Sjekloća, international cooperation coordinator.
