Sjekloća, senior librarian, attended the annual meeting “Europeana 2019: Connect
Communities” held from November 27 to November 29.
Frédéric Kaplan, professor in
Digital Humanities at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne,
presented a project “Time Machine Europe”, and within session “Pitch your
project”, there were promotions of projects which promote innovations in
digital cultural heritage.
At the meeting, which was
attended by 270 participants from European cultural institutions, from 37
countries, there were also outlined the key activities of the Europeana Network
which marked the current year and announced plans for 2020 funding priorities
for next year. The financial report for previous year was adopted, and
participants were introduced to financial priorities for the following year.
