Within the framework of many
years of successful cultural cooperation, the National Library of Montenegro
“Đurđe Crnojevic”, Cetinje, and the Union of Montenegrins of Croatia, Rijeka,
are organizing a literary evening of contemporary Croatian authors Nikola
Petković and Zoran Ferić, entitled “Od učke gore do Crne Gore”.
Nikola Petković is a writer,
university professor, literary critic and publicist. President of the Croatian
Writers’ Society from 2011 to 2018. He received the T-portal's literary award
for the best Croatian novel in 2019 for his work “Put u Gonars”. Zoran Ferić,
the current president of the Croatian Writers' Society, is one of the most
widely read middle-generation Croatian writers and works as a high school
professor. He writes novels and stories. He has won several literary awards.
The literary evening will take
place on Friday, September 6, starting at 7pm.
