Alexander Pushkin is
considered to be the father of modern Russian literature. He
was among the first in Russia to write in the language of people and who
distanced himself from romantic literature popular in Western Europe. He
created a style that included satire, romance and drama.
Prof. dr Tatjana Jovović,
Dean of the Faculty of Philology and Marinko Vorgić, writer and consultant at
the Ministry of Culture of Montenegro spoke about the life and creativity of
the famous Russian writer.
Program was organized by
the NLM “Đurđe Crnojević”, while members of the recitation section of Cetinje’s
gymnasium read excerpts from Pushkin’s works.
